RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (M/F/d) / WISSENSCHAFTLICHER MITARBEITER (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS
- Developing and evaluating a system for vision-based tracking and medical navigation
- Integrating machine learning methods for system calibration and vision-based motion tracking
- Systematic experimental evaluations in lab settings and with real clinical data
- Presentation of your results at top-tier international conferences and publication in high-ranking journals

YOUR PROFILE
- Master’s degree with excellent grades in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or related fields
- Experience with computer vision methods including signal / image processing is important
- Excellent English language and scientific writing skills are required, German is a plus
- Very good programming skills, particularly in C++ and Python, CUDA is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of machine learning methods and tools, e.g., PyTorch, is a strong plus
- Experience with optics, opto-mechatronics, embedded systems, or robotics is a plus
- Strong research focus and ability to work independently, project management skills are desirable
