Scope of workpart-time
Weekly hours50 % of standard work hours per week**Responsibilities**:
Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualifications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.
The applicant is expected to initiate and conduct research projects, analyze data and publish research findings as a first author. To gain maximum benefit from the research surroundings, the applicant‘s research interests should fit into the scope of the departments‘ focus on mechanisms of psychotic symptom formation and maintenance and their translation into novel interventions. The infrastructure for both basic and intervention research for patients with psychotic disorders is available. The applicant will be expected to teach within the clinical Bachelor and Master of Sciences Programs with 2 LVS, which is equivalent to 2 seminars, lectures, or colloquia within each term.
**Profile**:
A university degree in a relevant field.
Applicants with the following qualifications are preferred:
- Pronounced scientific interest and previous experience in research (proven via e.g. assistant positions, internships, participation in publications or similar), preferably in the area of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.
- Started or completed training as child and youth therapist (or similar training abroad).
We further expect excellent English language skills and the willingness to prepare English manuscripts as well as advanced methods skills (complex data-analysis and/or experience with one or several of the following research methods or paradigms, e.g. psychophysiological assessments, such as EEG and eye-tracking, ecological momentary assessment, basic experimental learning paradigms).

Applicants who aim to combine the research associate position with clinical training are welcome, as long as their main focus lies on the PhD.
