Wayfair’s Berlin office is looking for a talented Translation QA Associate for our EU Catalog Merchandising team to help localize storefront, product catalog and other interfaces

**As a Translation Associate you will**:
- Support our Translations team in our mission to become the best online place to shop for the home
- Develop a deep comprehension of how merchandising operations and localization work cross-functionally in a large multicultural company
- Execute on data-driven projects to improve product data quality, identify process improvement opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to localize our supplier
- and customer-facing platforms
- Learn how to manage projects on your own
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Review, edit, analyze quality of translations
- Ensure consistent, high quality translations of our customer
- or supplier-facing software tools
- Coordinate high priority projects with various translation tools (e.g. Smartling)
- Coordinate, onboard, train and support freelance translators
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes to make our team more efficient and effective
- Translation Memory Maintenance
**Your Profile**:
- Preferred native level of Mandarin and C2 level English
- Additional European languages are a plus
- First experience in translation, copywriting or proofreading (Smartling or other CAT tools knowledge a plus)
- Educational background in translation/language/cultural studies
- A keen eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Outstanding organization skills
- Team player
- Demonstrated interest in online media and e-commerce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
