- Innerhalb des Vertriebsteams leitet der Sales Manager (m/w/d) kommerzielle Verhandlungen für ein Produkt bzw. Produktgruppe und fungiert als Ansprechpartner für mehrere Kontaktpersonen innerhalb der Kundenorganisation

- In this position the Sales Manager (m/w/d) is responsible for winning new business in both existing key account structures and business development in strategic new accounts
- The Sales Manager (m/w/d) is responsible for managing sales operations and developing strategic plans to meet revenue targets with OEM customers
- Working within the sales team, the Sales Manager (m/w/d) leads commercial negotiations for a product or product group, and acts as single point of contact for clients

- Koordinierung der Verkaufsaktivitäten mit europäischen Kunden für alle Produkte in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den internen AAM-Teams, zentralen Funktionen und Produktion
- Aufbau und Pflege enger Geschäftsbeziehungen zu wichtigen Entscheidungsträger:innen bei einem oder mehreren großen europäischen OEM - in allen relevanten Funktionen und Hierarchieebenen
- Entwicklung und Umsetzung des Vertriebsplans zur Erreichung der Wachstums
- und Umsatzziele
- Benchmarking: Analyse der Geschäftsergebnisse und technischen Trends von Wettbewerbern, Kunden bzw. Partnern
- Beobachtung bzw. Dialog/Mitsprache mit den Kunden in den Themenbereichen technische Entwicklung, Einkauf, Marketing, Zielen und Strategie
- Koordinierung und Anpassung des Erscheinungsbildes und der Aussagen der Geschäftsbereiche in Bezug auf Vereinbarungen, Garantien, Preisangaben usw.
- Verwalten aller Aufträge für die Produktion und Beteiligung an der Vorbereitung und Durchführung der laufenden Preisverhandlungen - Cost Request Process
- Vorbereiten und Verteilen von internen und Kundenberichten
- Alle anderen Aufgaben nach Bedarf

**ENGLISH**
- Coordinate sales activities with customers in the European region for all products, in close collaboration with the internal AAM teams, central functions and manufacturing plants
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key decision-makers at one or more major European OEM - in all relevant functions and hierarchy levels
- Develop and execute the sales plan to reach the growth and revenue goals
- Benchmarking: analyse the business performance and technical trends of competitors, customers and/or partners
- Observe and influence the customer’s technical development, purchasing, marketing, goals and strategies
- Coordinate and adjust the appearance and statements of the business units related to agreements, guarantees, price specifications etc.
- Manage all orders for the production run and participate in the preparation and execution of the current price negotiations - Cost Request Process
- Prepare and distribute internal and customer reports
- All other tasks as assigned

**Required Skills and Education**

**DEUTSCH**
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium in einem technischen oder kaufmännischen Fachbereich (oder gleichwertig)
- Mindestens 3 Jahre Vertriebserfahrung, idealerweise in der Automobilindustrie
- Solides Verständnis von technischen Automotive-Themen
- Einschlägige Vertriebserfahrung (gerne Bestandskundengeschäft und Neukundengewinnung)
- Ausgeprägte Kunden
- und Ergebnisorientierung
- Fähigkeit zur Analyse von Verkaufsdaten bzw. zur Erstellung von Sales Reports/Forecasts
- Ausgeprägtes Verhandlungsgeschick - sowohl intern im Unternehmen als auch extern bei Kunden
- Gute Kenntnisse von MS Office-Anwendungen (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
- Reisebereitschaft (mindestens 25% der Arbeitszeit)
- Sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch und Englisch

**ENGLISH**
- At least 3 years sales experience, ideally in the automotive industry
- Solid understanding of automotive engineering topics
- Compelling sales track record - working in both existing customer account structures and as a business developer winning new
