- Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full-time | Permanent**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for sourcing New API’s for development projects in collaboration with R&D and project management
- Coordination and implementation of projects and activities of production materials (new API source) in cooperation with the local purchase departments
- Implementation and development of appropriate measures to ensure the supply of materials for STADA production facilities.
- Continuous improvement of costs by price negotiations and procurement related projects as supplier harmonisation, bundling of purchase volumes, category management, etc.
- Evaluation and selection of new sources for API, especially in countries like China and India
- Negotiation and conclusion of global and regional agreements as well as supply agreements.
- Collection, editing and evaluation of data of markets and suppliers as well as benchmarking.
- Setup and maintenance of an efficient supplier relationship management on operational and management level.

**Your qualifications**:

- BSC or PhD in scientific related discipline
- Expert on the global API market
- Respected in the industry by the external supply base
- Proven commercial and negotiation skills
- Financial understanding including P&L and cashflow
- Detailed knowledge of the pharmaceutical generic development process
- Detailed knowledge of pharmaceutical production in various dosage forms
- Experience of international business and relevant experience working in China and India
- Knowledge of cGMP principles and requirements
