**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
The Commercial Pricing Team at Lounge by Zalando is responsible for developing strategies that use one of the most important levers we have - pricing - to drive profitable growth and an attractive product offering to millions of treasure-hunting customers each day. One of Europe’s premier shopping clubs, Lounge by Zalando offers its members exclusive access to a selection of more than 2,500 brands at affordable prices set by the Commercial Pricing team each day.

As a Senior Pricing Strategist in the Commercial Pricing team, you will be in a key and influential position to shape our holistic pricing strategy and localized approach in your markets while fostering customer engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker looking to make a big impact in a fast-growing, 1.5b EUR Offprice business in Europe.

**WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- You understand customer preferences in your specific markets and use those insights to drive pricing strategy, weekly execution, and reporting.
- You act like an owner by defining local pricing strategies and steering towards the target for the respective markets.
- You actively review and optimize pricing of key campaigns and brands, taking into account past performance, current business guidance and inputs from the buying and merchandising team.
- You contribute to various cross-functional initiatives and lead pricing initiatives in close collaboration with commercial, supply, analytics, science, product and engineering colleagues.
- You use your strategic thinking and analytical mindset to come up with lean effective solutions to steer pricing approaches in a fast and dynamic environment.
- You are open to support and coach junior team members, fostering a positive team atmosphere and contributing to overall team well-being.

**WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in pricing, online retail, finance, consulting or related roles within a high-performance environment.
- Self-driven and result-oriented, you have a hands-on mentality and enjoy working independently as well as in a team.
- You are a strategic thinker, capable of stepping back, seeing the big picture, and helping to shape priorities going forward.
- You are driven to understand how things work and have no problem developing improvements to processes and tools where you see the need.
- You are an excellent, clear and structured communicator, both in written and spoken English.
- You are strong at analyzing data in Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau to make clear, logical recommendations and articulate those findings to others.
