**Master Thesis within Automatic Landing Controller for Fighter Aircraft Offline Simulation (d/f/m)**:

- Location: _Manching _

- Duration: _6 Months _

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Derivation and tuning of a parametric representation of the landing maneuver
- Design of an automatic landing controller
- Evaluation of the performance of the implemented controller
- Documentation of results and lessons learnt

In case of according theoretical knowledge with the applicant, these tasks can be extended by aspects from landing gear modeling or pilot modeling.

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within aerospace engineering, control system engineering, or similar field of study.
- Theoretical knowledge on flight dynamics and control laws design.
- MATLAB/Simulink: Experienced.
- FORTRAN or C/C++: Basic knowledge.
- LINUX: Basic knowledge.
- English: Fluent.
- German: Advanced.
