As our new** Intern in the field of Finance/Controlling/Accounting **you will be supporting our Finance Manager to drive our ambitious vision forward. You will receive a high degree of autonomy and ownership from day one, so we are looking for people who enjoy taking the initiative and are able to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines. This is an amazing opportunity to join a company with a fast growth trajectory and make a real impact, and we need someone who is autonomous, proactive and reliable to help take us to the next level.

**What you'll be doing?**
- You will be working directly with our Finance Director and the FP&A responsible in building monthly financial statements
- You will be reviewing and carrying out payments and collecting invoices to be compliant with financial regulations or checking that our colleagues have done so
- You'll be supporting our bookkeeping processes by ensuring their correctness and alignment with company goals
- You will be supporting in creating invoices and sending them to our clients
- You will be supporting the FP&A responsible person in updating and tracking the budget
- You will be reviewing liquidity on a daily basis
- You will be assisting the other finance team members with different ad hoc requests

**Who are we looking for?**
- Current Bachelor student with a background in business/economics
- Knowledge of payroll and financial accounting, as well as being able to read financial statements is a plus
- Confident handling of common MS Office and Google software, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Good English language skill, both written and spoken. German is a plus
- Professional experience in accounting is preferred; Previous knowledge of Datev ERP will be considered as an asset
- High degree of accuracy, sense of responsibility and reliability
- Fun in dealing with people, patience and empathy towards others
- Collaborative person, who is not afraid of challenges and has great desire to learn and grow within a company.
