To strengthen our global HR set-up, we are looking for an experienced and passionate HR talent leader to drive Munich Re’s learning & leadership strategy.

The Learning & Leadership Lead will sit within the Global HR Talent Center of Excellence and report to the Global Head of Talent. They will provide the thought leadership, methodology and toolkits to help shape and implement our approach to developing our people globally. This is an exciting time to join to lead and build a growing team of experts, design a new leadership curriculum and build a learning framework. They will be part of the Global Talent Leadership team.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone experienced in taking overreaching topic ownership, the ability to influence key decision makers, demonstrating a passion for operational execution of best-in-class learning and leadership offerings globally. Excellent leadership and project management skills are crucial for the success in this role, as well as the ability to effectively steer regional teams in response to business demands and times of transformational change.

**YOUR JOB**
- Leading a team of experienced learning and leadership experts and leverage their strengths, skills and expertise to drive our global strategy.
- Undertaking a comprehensive assessment of current capabilities against future requirements and designs leading-edge programs that create a clear development framework from first line leaders through to the executive team, so that leadership potential is developed in line with our Continuous Conversations approach and organizational needs.
- Planing and managing the execution of global leadership development activities which incorporate a variety of learning methodologies to ensure that our leaders are equipped with the skills and capabilities required to embed a high-performance culture across the organization.
- Establishing distinct global career paths for leaders and experts ensuring equitable ways of developing careers in a knowledge-based environment while fostering talent mobility.
- Shaping our learning and development curriculum (professional, culture, leadership, digital) so that our employees can own and accelerate their development.
- Driving data-driven talent decisions through metrics and surveys to measure progress and gain insight on current state and important gaps.
- Establishing a profound learning culture, partnering with the business and HR leaders, taking into consideration the full learning lifecycle; from needs analysis to coaching and measuring impact.
- Partners with fellow COEs, HRBP’s, talent experts, and business clients at global and regional level to agree on communication plans for marketing global offerings. Drives engagement and executes delivery of talent interventions such as talent reviews and brokerage, succession management, leadership workshops.
- Ownership of global learning and leadership products, talent related platforms, systems and tools as well as connected vendor relationships.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- 7 years plus leadership experience in a regional, or preferably global, HR talent role
- Experience working across businesses and orchestrating group-wide project-based expert teams
- Passion for designing and implementing strategic concepts and proven success in deploying global solutions with regional impact
- Comprehensive understanding of current learning technology landscape and its key players including LMS, LXP, and market-leading content providers. Experience with the SAP SuccessFactors suite is a plus.
- Ability to make data driven decisions and have the vision and digital acumen to link numbers to meaningful deliverables and understandable target pictures
- Enthusiasm for learning and leadership with a holistic understanding of the full talent management value chain
- Excellent leadership, project management, presentation, and organizational skills
- Collaborative and growth mindset, ability to work successfully with key stakeholders to create joint expectations and deliverables
- Advocate for embedding diversity, equity and inclusion into talent lifecycle
- Qualifications in a range of psychometric tools would be an advantage
- Proficiency in English as main business language; German on working level is a plus
