**Position information**:
We are looking for a passionate Learning Design Student Assistant to join our team.

Kiron Open Higher Education gGmbH is a non-profit organization founded in 2015 with the mission to enable access to high-quality education for refugees and underserved communities through digital solutions. Our team of Kironistas is international, agile and thinks out-of-the-box. We are education experts, techies, designers, project managers, communicators, grant writers, researchers, coffee-drinkers, innovators and dreamers, all united in our passion to democratize digital education.

In order to achieve our goal. you need to be enrolled in a German university and have solid German/Arabic and English language skills.

**About the position**:
We are looking for a student assistant to join our Education Programs team. The role will involve a range of responsibilities from researching, to content curation and integration in our learning management system (LMS). We are looking for motivated students who would be willing to pick up tasks quickly and learn on the go.

**In this role, you will**:

- Integrate content from storyboards into the back-end of our learning platform (LMS), including building interactive activities with H5P
- Test features and make minor adjustments to HTML elements to fix bugs and maintain a high-quality student experience
- Work on improving the look and feel of existing courses and learning programs
- Support in replacing broken, outdated or otherwise unusable resources, and researching suitable additional content for the students on our digital campus

**About You**:

- A team player who proactively communicates any issues related to job tasks
- Interested in working in an international and interdisciplinary team

and will likely have:

- First experience in the field of digital education and/or student learning journeys

Ideally, you might also have:

- Prior experience working with HTML5, and/or managing content in CMS tools such as Wordpress or LMS tools such as Moodle
- Fluency in English as well as a second language e.g. German or Arabic**Your compensation**:
We have a flat rate salary for all working students that is 12,50 EUR/hour.
