**Über diese Position**:
In dieser Rolle übernehmen Sie die Führung bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung von medizinischen und wissenschaftlichen Strategien für eine Marke innerhalb eines therapeutischen Bereichs.

Sie stehen an vorderster Front bei der Mitgestaltung der regionalen Vision und Strategie durch Zusammenarbeit mit dem Regional Core Medical Team. Ihre Führung wird die Zukunft der Gesundheitsinnovation prägen.

**Das können Sie bewirken**:

- Leitung der Brand Medical Unit und Gesamtverantwortung (Accountability) für die Medical Aktivitäten der Brand - sowohl derjenigen im vollständigen Verantwortungsbereich von Medical Affairs (MA) als auch derjenigen in der cross-funktionalken Zusammenarbeit in Matrix-Teams und mit Kollegen aus anderen Geschäftsbereichen wie z.B. HEOR, Marketing, Market Access, Vertrieb
- Co-Lead im Brand-Team und Mitgestaltung der cross-funktionalen Brand Strategie
- Führung der Mitarbeiter (Medical Manager, MSL) der Brand Medical Unit als direkter Vorgesetzter
- Erstellung und und Umsetzung des Affiliate Brand Medical Affairs-Plans, Sicherstellung der Ausrichtung mit dem Core Medical Plan und Übernahme der Verantwortung für Budget und Timing; Sicherstellung, dass die Aktivitäten des Brand Medical Affairs (MA) Bereichs den lokalen Geschäftsanforderungen entsprechen, einen Mehrwert für Patienten schaffen und zum Fortschritt des medizinisch/wissenschaftlichen Verständnisses der Astellas-Produkte beitragen.
- Wissenschaftlicher Austausch mit externen Experten und Generierung externer Erkenntnisse zur Gestaltung der wissenschaftlichen und medizinischen Strategie für die Brand. Vertreten Sie Astellas mit Integrität in der externen wissenschaftlichen Gemeinschaft.
- Nachweislich glaubwürdige Führungsqualitäten und Matrixführung, Förderung einer Kultur der crossfunktiuonalen Zusammenarbeit, Beteiligung, Inklusion und Spitzenleistung.
- Bereitstellung medizinischer Expertise für wissenschaftlichen Präsentationen, Publikationsplänen und medizinischen Materialien. Dienen Sie als anerkannte Autorität im Bereich Medical Affairs, pflegen Sie aktuelles Branchenwissen und entwickeln Sie starke Beziehungen zu Interessengruppen. Sicherstellung effizienter Freigabeprozesse und Beitrag zu Metriken und Berichterstattung für Brand-Aktivitäten.

**Essenzielle Kompetenzen & Erfahrung**:

- Nachgewiesene fundierte wissenschaftliche und medizinische Erfahrung in der forschungsbasierten pharmazeutischen Industrie, insbesondere in den Bereichen Medical Affairs und/oder Medical Affairs & Development.
- Starke Fähigkeiten im People Management und Leadership, einschließlich der Fähigkeit, Teams zu leiten, zu entwickeln und zu coachen, während aktiv der Wissensaustausch und bewährte Praktiken gefördert werden.
- Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit, vielfältige Interessengruppen in einer Matrixorganisation zu beeinflussen, herauszufordern und einzubeziehen, was zu effektiver Zusammenarbeit führt.
- Konsistente Erfolgsbilanz bei der Erzielung herausragender Leistungsergebnisse in komplexen Matrixorganisationen.
- Tiefgehende Kenntnisse der lokalen Regularien/Payer/HTA-Behörden, ICH GCP-Richtlinien, Industrievorschriften und Qualitätsstandards. Vertrautheit mit den Compliance
- und Ethikrichtlinien, -praktiken und -verpflichtungen von Astellas.

**Erforderliche Qualifikationen**:

- Promotionsabschluss in einem gesundheitsbezogenen Fachbereich (z. B. PharmD, PhD, MD, DO)
