Die Regional Medical Affairs Lead Position Oncology New Indications (m/w/d) beinhaltet die Führungsverantwortung der Regional Medical Affairs Manager, die im Bereich neuer onkologischer Indikationen (Phase 1-3 der klinischen Entwicklung, vor Zulassung; Schwerpunkte: Lungenkarzinom, kolorektales Karzinom, HNO-Tumore und Glioblastom) aktiv sind, auf nationaler Ebene in Deutschland. Die Position verantwortet federführend die Abstimmung bzw. Umsetzung der nationalen Medical Pläne der jeweiligen in klinischer Entwicklung befindlichen Indikationen innerhalb der Onkologie von GSK. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Medical Head und den Medical Leads wird die lokale Medical Affairs-Strategie in messbare Ziele umgesetzt, die zur erfolgreichen lokalen Durchführung von klinischen Entwicklungsprogrammen und letztlich zu verbesserten patientenorientierten Ergebnissen führen. Ein Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt ist die enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem regionalen und lokalen Clinical Operations-Team, um eine aus deutscher Perspektive adäquate Planung sowie eine erfolgreiche lokale Exekution der klinischen Studienprogramme zu gewährleisten.

**Hauptaufgaben**:

- Disziplinarische Leitung des nationalen feldbasierten Medical-Teams für Oncology New Indications (Regional Medical Affairs Manager)
- Intensive Zusammenarbeit mit Global Clinical Development sowie regionalen und lokalen Clinical Operation-Team
- Vertretung der Field Based Medical Affairs-Funktion gegenüber internen und überregionalen Interessengruppen
- Aufrechterhaltung einer dynamischen Interkonnektivität des Field Based Medical Affairs-Teams mit internen Medical Affairs-Funktionen sowie funktionsübergreifenden Teams vor Ort (Clinical Operations, Market Access, Marketing, Patient Relations)
- Aufbau und Entwicklung strategischer Beziehungen zu medizinischen und wissenschaftlichen Experten zur Gewinnung aktueller wissenschaftlicher Kenntnisse im Therapiebereich, um den Fokus auf Patient*innen zu maximieren. Durch die Lieferung von innovativen Ansätzen die Stimme der Patient*innen in die strategische und operative Entscheidungsfindung von GSK mit einbeziehen und so die deutsche Gesundheitsversorgung mitgestalten, sodass die bestmöglichen Ergebnisse für Patient*innen erzielt werden.
- Rechtzeitiger, strukturierter Input zu wiederkehrenden Performance Reviews zum organisierten Aufdecken von Chancen für die Patientenambition; fokussiert auf die zu den wichtigsten Objective(s) und Key Result(s) führenden Hebel und die Lead Metrics
- Steigerung der Effektivität und/oder Effizienz etablierter Prozesse und Strukturen z.B. durch Methoden des Lean Management sowie kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Regional Medical Affairs Funktion an sich ändernde externe Rahmenbedingungen
- Individuelles Coaching und aktives Performance Management mit verbindlichen Vereinbarungen von Key Results und Nachhalten der Umsetzung, sodass jeder Regional Medical Affairs Manager weiß, wo er/sie steht und Leistungslücken zeitnah mit konstruktiven Ansätzen adressiert werden

**Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten**:

- Hochschulabschluss in Medizin, Pharmazie oder Naturwissenschaften, bevorzugt mit Promotion
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Pharmazeutischen Industrie im Bereich Medical Affairs der Onkologie
- Erfahrung im Bereich Clinical Development und Clinical Operations
- Erfahrung im Aufbau und in der Leitung leistungsstarker Außendienstteams, vorzugsweise Medical field-based, in der pharmazeutischen Industrie
- Fließende Deutsch
- (mindestens C1-Level) und Englischkenntnisse
- Verständnis von und Erfahrung mit den gängigen medizinischen Planungsprozessen auf globaler, regionaler und nationaler Ebene
- Erfahrung in einer komplexen Matrixorganisation kollaborativ zu arbeiten, die verschiedene Perspektiven zusammenbringt (u.a. der Klinischen Forschung, kommerziellen Funktionen, und Marktzulassung) und die gemeinsame Erstellung von patientenorientierten, erkenntnisgetriebenen Plänen ermöglicht.
- Erfahrung mit der Erlernung und praktischen Anwendung von Coaching Methodiken
- Erfahrung mit der Nutzung von Omnichannel relevanten Tools und Methodiken um die Erhöhung der Relevanz der Kommunikation über alle Kanäle hinweg, zugeschnitten auf spezifischen Stakeholder Bedürfnisse zu erfüllen
