Medical Services Lead

**The position**

The primary responsibilities of the Medical Services Lead are to lead the Medical Services team in **Germany, Netherlands and Austria**, oversee all processes related to Medical Services and to be the information officer for promotional material in Germany and Austria.

**Responsibilities**
- Overseeing all the processes related to promotional material review and approval (i.e. review flows, priorities, outsourcing, metrics, SOP, implementation of regional initiatives).
- Be knowledgeable of the different regulations and laws governing promotional materials in the countries.
- Responsible for review of material, ensuring that medical review of materials is completed with accuracy and in a timely manner, meeting company policies and regulations prior to public release.
- Provide compliance leadership and training to country staff as needed
- Support the DPOC/Medical Information team, ensuring that all processes meet the highest standards
- Provide back-up for Medical Information as needed

**Required Education, Experience, and Skills**
- MD, PhD, Pharm D or other relevant life sciences degree
- Experience in Pharmaceutical Industry
- Experience as Information Officer
- Ability to identify and escalate risks/issues that arise within ORD functional areas
- Ability to manage the different systems related with the position
- KPI´s analysis on regular basis
- Ability to work with partners (Commercial and medical affairs) to ensure the proper alignment and accelerate the approval process
