PURPOSE OF ROLE
To manage the selected segment’s marketing and sales activities for the company, responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of a brand or the products and services that a company sells.
Attract more customers to buy from the company and raise brand awareness through the creation of marketing campaigns.
Track segment market developments, create strategies, set up sales plans, and maintain partner relations.
**Scope**:
To manage and support all products and offers related to the particular
segment and implement new projects and ideas aimed at the growth of the segments
Tasks
RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Preparing segment media and marketing plans and project managing the executions and reporting of these plans.
- Issuing briefs to media agencies & negotiating on behalf of the company
- Developing marketing programs for the segment and co-operating with marketing and sales colleagues based in London and other company’s countries to execute
marketing plans including TV, print, radio, outdoor and digital media
- Identifying segment opportunities and developing marketing campaigns to differentiate from the competition to secure the growth of customer acquisition
- Leveraging internal and external resources to deliver compelling integrated marketing programs that include online and offline collateral, advertising, PR, sales
tool kits
- Working closely and communicating with the product, marketing and other departments in London and other company countries
- Carrying out promotions during events & attending events as required by the line
manager
- Undertaking field visits for marketing, branding opportunities and organizing customer feedback surveys
- Selling and marketing our products in respective countries ensuring the growth of the segment
**Requirements**:
Degree in marketing is highly desirable KEY COMPETENCIES
- Degree in marketing highly desirable
- Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs and habits within the segment concerned
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the concerned community / segment
- Solid knowledge of the key media / TV, Press, Radio, Digital for the segment
- Maintains a high level of professionalism and job expertise. Seeks to understand new products and can articulate them to others as well as communicate organizational objectives.
- Adapts innovative communication style to match the needs and understanding of different audiences. Practices active listening skills. Able to establish inter-departmental communication easily.
- Able to set own priorities. Manages work logically through consistently prioritizing own workload. Sends regular updates to their line manager
- Sets high standards for self and others. Challenges negative behaviors and responses in a constructive way. Encourages people to be optimistic, with a can-do attitude and focus.
- Generates and identifies opportunities and resolves issues before they arise. Encourages others to be creative thinkers.
- Ability to issue brief to media agencies & negotiate on behalf of Lycamobile and prepare a segment media plans
- Ability to develop marketing programs for the segment and co-operation with marketing colleagues based in London and other Lycamobile countries to execute marketing plans.
- Ability to identify segment opportunities, develop marketing campaigns to differentiate from the competition to secure the growth of customer acquisition
- Ability to leverage internal and external resources to deliver compelling integrated marketing programs that include online and offline collateral, advertising, PR, sales tool kits
- Ability to carry out promotions during events & attend events as required

- Ability to sell & market our product in the respective country
- Must be a native speaker of that segment language
- Must be able to travel nationally and internationally if and when required.
