**ROLE SUMMARY**
**What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?**
Be an integral part of the Insights & Foresights team in Central Europe with key focus on creating tangible business value via holistic performance, market and competitor analysis on Germany.
**What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?**
Contribute to the S&OP process for respective category by building & reviewing the Market Share forecasts, set focus topics to understand consumer behavior and drive impact through business recommendations to Area & Germany CU teams. Assist for yearly plan creations including the development of convincing management presentations. You will be working in close collaboration with the Business Insights & Planning Manager, Senior Insights & Foresights Manager and direct department colleagues.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Design and conduct analysis (returning standards & ad-hoc) based on numerous available performance data sources
- Modelling market & consumer trends into performance estimations mainly share & offtakes volume forecast
- Link observations from performance data to consumer-, brand-, and market trends to formulate causal hypothesis
- Closely cooperate with all marketing functions (Brand, Trade, Finance) to achieve a holistic interpretation of performance data
- Merge comprehensive analysis results into holistic insights to derive strategic recommendations for our Senior Management
- Own, present and share results and recommendations in different forums and project related workstreams
- Steer and cooperate with external agencies
- Support the Business Insights & Manager & Sr. I&F Manager in day-to-day business
- Manage company-wide projects and special assignments
**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**
**ESSENTIAL**
**Experience Required**
- 2 years marketing experience in an analytical function
**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Distinct ability to think analytically and strategically with strong affinity for numbers
- Ability to describe complex data in a concise manner and use data to derive insights and recommendations for actions
- Structured, organized and independent working style with attention to quality, detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and presentation skills to impact the marketing organization and gain valuable context
- Strong commercial acumen
- Flexibility, high level of resilience and independency
**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- University degree specialised in marketing and/or statistics/analytics/mathematics
- Good knowledge in working with BI systems as well as outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills
**BENEFICIAL**
- Knowledge in Power BI report building.
- Understanding of working with Nielsen Retail Audit data
- Database design, SQL
