**Compensation & Benefits Lead (M/F/d)**:
As a **Compensation & Benefits Lead**, you will take on a critical role within our organization, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our compensation and benefits strategy attracts, retains, and effectively engages with our talent across Europe.

You will oversee and manage payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with laws and tax obligations, supervising the payroll team, and maintaining accurate payroll records.

- Conduct comprehensive monitoring and research of compensation and benefits trends to align in industry best practices and emerging strategies
- Evolve the Compensation & Benefits structure to ensure competitiveness in the market and support the organization's talent acquisition and retention goals
- Proactively maintain and develop robust job and grading structures that accurately reflect the organization's roles and responsibilities, while enabling effective talent management
- Offer compensation consultation to stakeholders, providing guidance on job values, benchmark strategies, and innovative approaches to attract and motivate top talent
- Foster collaboration with HR colleagues and business clients, acting as a trusted advisor to provide insightful guidance and develop tailored solutions for compensation and benefits requirements
- Ensure that compensation and benefits plans are fair, equitable, and competitive, and in compliant with current legislation and in alignment with the company's overarching strategy and organizational goals
- Design comprehensive reports and compelling recommendations based on thorough research and analysis, providing valuable insights for decision-making at strategic and operational level
- Collaborate closely with external vendors, including salary benchmark providers and benefits vendors, to ensure access to accurate data and leverage their expertise to enhance the organization's compensation and benefits offerings
- Design and manage a shared service model for efficient and effective payroll operations
- Manage and ensure that payroll account transactions are processed in compliance with laws and tax obligations (e.g. salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions, taxes and third party payments)
- Work with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
- Supervise and coach payroll assistants
- Manage related projects such as yearly business planning, etc.

**_Requirements:_**:

- University Degree in Human Resources, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum 7-8 years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits area, including knowledge of company pension schemes
- High proficiency in Excel, along with strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of job evaluation and analysis systems
- Familiarity with Compensation & Benefits systems and legislation
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Effective communication and relationship management within a matrix organizational structure, influencing employees at all levels
- Strong work ethic and high degree of discretion
- Attention to detail with a broader perspective on organizational needs
