**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- The Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation Leader is a key member of the Extended Management Team of the School and reports directly to the secondary school principal. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the school delivers high-quality international learning experiences through the development of exceptional curriculum. Working closely with the Management Team, learning assistant principals, and faculty, the Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation Leader will lead the design and implementation of a curriculum aligned with contemporary educational research and best practices.
- Provide educational leadership and vision based on contemporary international research and practice, while planning, initiating, and managing development and change to achieve broader school goals. Monitor, identify, and advise the Head of School on relevant curriculum trends, ensuring best practices are upheld. Promote excellence and innovative practice in learning and teaching, fostering a growth mindset learning culture. Identify and investigate curriculum needs, driving a future-focused agenda, and promote ongoing academic research, innovation, and key initiatives to continually develop opportunities for students. Demonstrate continued professional growth through participation in professional activities and organizations, and act as a professional learning leader, presenting to staff and other audiences where appropriate.

**Whole School Learning Strategic Direction**
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the school's Mission, Philosophy, and Core Values.
- Provide leadership and collaborate in developing and implementing educational programs and strategic plans.
- Maintain a continuous Learning Development Plan for strategic direction in terms of teaching & learning, curriculum & assessment, and particularly international-mindedness, ensuring that the school offers a broad and rich learning experience to students;
- Lead and coordinate curriculum review, development, implementation, and monitoring.
- Analyse data regarding the effectiveness of the school's educational programs and student performance.
- Lead and manage the assistant principals for learning, IB Coordinator & Examinations officer, and work closely with the Beyond LIS team, to ensure students are supported in their pathways.
- Take a supporting role in the recruitment and onboarding of new teachers.

**Leading the learning**

- Lead, manage and collaborate the Academic Learning Leaders (ALL) regarding learning & teaching, curriculum & assessment impacts
- Oversee the analysis of student learning data, including the guaranteeing of effective and consistent report card procedures and grading; manage the assessment calendars
- Coordinate with learning assistant principals and program coordinators to ensure horizontal and vertical articulation of the educational programs (European Framework, IGCSE, IBO).
- Oversee the implementation of the school's professional growth and evaluation process in collaboration with the section principals.
- In collaboration with the section principals and head of school design the school's professional development programs (in-service days, in-house workshops, conferences, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Management Team to review and evaluate the results of assessment tools and strategies used by the school.
- Being visible to students and teachers from the start of school each day (i.e. intervening on issues before school), and being a model of attendance at school functions, events and meetings;
- Ensure parents are informed about academic choices, pathways and possibilities, through timely presentations about processes and educational developments in the school;
- Attending to the learning environment around school (e.g. displays) and supporting the marketing of the school and the celebration of student learning internally and externally.

**Secondary School Specific**
- Know all students as learners, leading in systems designed to track student progress;
- Be the next level of escalation in systems of completion of work (after ALLs), to ensure there are suitable sanctions to ensure a productive learning environment for all students, including academic supervision and managing the homework club; Oversee the IB Coordinator doing this for Grades 11-12;
