Junior Accountant Intern

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in tracking and analyzing the costing of operational action plans and comparing actuals vs. budget vs. ongoing plans.
- Conduct invoicing audits and cash sales controls to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and utilize internal management tools to monitor food costs.
- Help in analyzing labor costs, including FTE, wages, and hours.
- Analyze overhead costs on a site-by-site basis, ensuring all expenses are tracked.
- Participate in site visits for inventories and training managers in financial management tools.
- Collaborate with the Internal Audit team to ensure adherence to Group standards and regulations.
- Support the accounting team with monthly closings, reporting, and financial reviews.
- Assist in costing reviews and participate in tender processes.
- Take part in the annual budgeting process and perform financial simulations based on operational needs.
- Assist the CFO in communications with external parties, such as banks, customers, insurers, tax authorities, and auditors.

- Recent graduate or student in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, auditing, and accounting practices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, proficiency in German is a plus.
