Head of Accounting (M/F/d) (full-time)

to join their team.

The Berlin-based company strives for a"Teams first" hybrid-work-model dependent on projects and needs. Post-Pandemic: 2 office days per week.

Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the preparation of auditable monthly and annual financial statements including reporting
- Team management and mentoring, coordination and development of the entire accounting department
- Supervision of debitor/creditor/general ledger accounting and payroll accounting
- Implementation of communication guidelines
- Collaboration in the operative day-to-day business
- Continuous analysis, optimization, and monitoring of business processes
- Assessment of tax issues and support during tax audits

**Requirements**:

- Successfully completed commercial training and ideally more than 8 years of relevant professional experience in accounting
- Strong Team leadership competence in an agile environment
- Several years of relevant professional experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
- Very good knowledge of accounting, tax law and reporting
- Confident appearance and diplomatic skills
- Hands-on mentality, strong problem-solving ability
- Very good command of German (C2) and business fluent in English
