Head of Direct-to-consumer Marketing

As the Head of Direct-to-Consumer Marketing for our Refractive Business, you will work closely with Head of Digital Patient Interaction Services, ZEISS MED Leadership and other Strategic Business units (eg. Vision) to support them to innovate, scale and manage ZEISS Refractive business.

In this role, you will serve as a critical partner on three primary areas: Digital D2C Marketing Strategy, Digital Agency landscape and Advertising Ecosystem. By gauging the current and future needs of our customers you will translate them into Digital Engagement opportunities. Steer your team of D2C Marketing Managers to tap into the multi-billion Refractive market globally by leveraging digital marketing as tool and further strengthen ZEISS MED’s position as the market leader in Refractive Laser Vision Correction

Your Role- Define a global Direct-to-consumer Digital Marketing strategy for our Refractive Business including marketing investment opportunities, customer engagement programs and digital adoption plans- Orchestrate omni-channel marketing campaigns whilst partnering with digital advertising and content management agencies to design customer centric digital solutions campaigns to provide enhanced customer journey- Oversee web content, including county specific website management, social media channels, mobile platform and blogger communities, in order to drive and bolster demand for Refractive products- Build and monitor performance metrics that measure the engagement and adoption of our digital solutions and ensure robust returns on marketing investments- Be the voice of the customer and act as a digital change champion within ZEISS MED- Stay abreast with future digital trends and accordingly customise and shape our digital marketing strategy to power growth

Your Profile- Minimum 5yrs of proven experience of executing and leading digital marketing programs in the Healthcare / medical devices or Life sciences industry- Prior experience in leading teams in disciplinary capacity- Professional understanding & proven track-record in global brand marketing operations, incl. agency selection & steering- Professional understanding of key digital performance marketing channels and experience in executing and optimizing campaigns and managing performance marketing channels- Ability to influence and affect change in a multi-cultural and cross-functional environment- High bias for action and ability to navigate within a large and constantly evolving framework- Strong communication, problem solving and executive stakeholder management skills- Anchor multiple projects with mínimal direction
