We are on a steep growth curve, and we are looking for a Head of Treasury to join our team. In this role, you will be exposed to all aspects of Finance work at a startup. You will be exposed to a high level of freedom and responsibility from day one working closely with the management team.

This position will be based in Portugal or Germany with a hybrid/remote set up.

**Your Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the treasury team
- Manage the financial affairs of the organizations
- Oversee and forecast cash flow positions related to borrowing needs and funds available
- Ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational needs and develop best structure to optimize working capital
- Use hedging to mitigate financials risks related to currency and interest rates on companies cash flow and borrowing
- Advise management on liquidity aspects of short-term and long-term
- Maintain all domestic and global banking relationships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain subsidiaries capital structures consistent with business, tax and regulatory requirements
- Manage excess cash effectively to obtain interest revenue
- Complete special projects as assigned by management

**Your Qualifications**
- BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Relevant experience and proven track record in treasury management
- Experience in start-ups/ scale-ups preferred
- Proficient user of Excel and GoogleSheets
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of stakeholders, from employees to management as well as external partners
- Quick learner, able to work independently under pressing deadlines and changing priorities
- Full working proficiency in English is required, any other European language is a plus
