**Who we are**:
We are witnessing a major shift in media, now called the Creator Economy. The internet and Web 2.0 have democratized content creation, creating a $20B+ creator advertising market. Yet, marketers can’t scale creator marketing, and creators struggle to monetize easily due to a lack of infrastructure.

We are building **Passionfroot**, the advertising backbone of the creator economy. Passionfroot will be the fastest way for marketers to get the best creator marketing returns at scale - and the easiest way for creators to monetize their content.

With Passionfroot, creators can earn more from sponsorships through a custom CRM, Storefront, Calendar, and more. Our brand tool helps marketers make running creator sponsorships at scale as easy as Google ads.

You'll work closely with:

We are seeking a **Head of Design** with the vision to eventually scale a design team, while remaining hands-on to drive stellar product experiences. Specifically, we’re looking for someone who:

- ** Thrives in early-stage environments**: You understand the dynamics of an early-stage, product-led company and are excited by the prospect of building from the ground up.
- ** Leads with design**: You’ve led a design team before, setting the bar for design quality and influencing the entire organization. You enjoy mentoring and guiding others and are ready to scale the team when the time comes.
- ** Hands-On Designer & Builder**: You’re a master of your craft, passionate about building products that users love, and you enjoy participating in every stage of the design process.
- ** Engages deeply with product**: You deeply engage in product discussions, enjoy jamming on ideas, and are passionate about understanding and solving user needs.
- ** Thinks deeply and conceptually**: You're a strong storyteller and deep thinker with an ability to conceptualize complex systems and information architecture, influencing decisions across all levels.

**Your Role at Passionfroot**:
This role is a dream for passionate designers who care about craft, precision, and pushing creative boundaries. We give you the freedom to experiment, express your vision, and shape the product with your unique taste.

**In the short term (until Series A), you’ll be hands-on**, working closely with a small design team and contributing directly to product development. **After Series A**, your focus will shift to **scaling the design team** and driving our ambitious vision forward as we grow.

In this role, you will:

- Manage and mentor our Founding Product Designer. After Series A, you’ll lead the **scaling of the design team**, hiring and developing a diverse group of designers.
- Collaborate closely with our C-level team to define what’s next for Passionfroot — as a product, a business, and a company. You’ll influence the company strategy through design.
- Create and maintain a strong design culture that values craft and quality at scale.
- Lead the user research process, relying on data to inform decisions and iterate based on user feedback.
- Set the standard for problem definition, framing and scoping projects thoughtfully even with competing demands.
- Design across fidelities: from sketches to user flows all the way to production-ready designs.
- Define product requirements and success criteria for the features you design.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to build and launch features.
- Shape and evolve our brand identity to serve both brands and creators, while reflecting our core values and vision as we grow.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively.
