**Student Assistant for the GESIS Guides to Digital Behavioral Data (DBD)**:
**(13,25 € / 14,09 € hourly rate, 17 hours/week, temporary)**
- The interdisciplinary and internationally constituted department **Computational Social Science** (CSS) is dedicated to the study of socio-cultural phenomena using new tools and data types (e.g. smartphone apps, web tracking, web data collections), methods (machine learning, network analysis, data mining) and standards (reproducible analytical methods).GESIS Guides to Digital Behavioral Data (GESIS Guides to DBD) are a service that will offer expertise and structured overviews on digital behavioral data and the computational methods needed for successfully working with these data. - To assist a service manager on producing the GESIS Guides to DBD
- To proofread and format the Guides
- To work with citation management tools
- Do a proper file management and documenting
- Other tasks related to the Guides
**Your profile**:
- BA/MA student in Social sciences or Humanities, who is navigating well with text and content
- Solid skills in academic writing ("wissenschaftliches Arbeiten"), e.g. knowledge about citation styles, reference managers along with excellent English language skills
- Topical interest in internet research, CSS, digital behavioral data, digitalization
