As Director Business Excellence & Innovation - Oncology Europe/Canada you will be responsible for conducting business excellence and innovative customer insights projects for the Oncology Business Division (OBD) in EU/CAN. You will help us to become the leader in Oncology by driving data-driven customer engagement initiatives and support our go-to-market model transformation across the Region. You will combine your business and customer understanding to drive cross-functional projects, which will be across a wide range of business excellence topics, for example: sales force effectiveness, strategic launch preparations, or omnichannel marketing.
You will collaborate closely with the Omnichannel Strategy & Excellence Lead, Head of Market Insights Europe, as well as other key stakeholders across EU/CAN Oncology commercial organization. The role will report to the Head Commercial Oncology EU/CAN.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
Business Excellence and Innovation
- Lead and support business excellence and innovation projects across OBD Europe, including the continuous evolution of our analytical capabilities, and the translation of customer insights into commercial actions
- Support customer engagement initiatives (Marketing Automation) and support our OBD go-to-market model transformation
- Collaborate with key stakeholders from Daiichi Sankyo affiliates across EU/CAN Region and support their business excellence and innovation business projects
- Drive the adoption of business processes which support Omnichannel Marketing in EU/CAN Region through the support of key initiatives and appropriate monitoring of relevant KPIs
- Leverage appropriate sales and customer insights to drive our Oncology business, as well as customer

Internal / External Interfaces
- Become a trusted partner across the OBD EU/CAN Region by working with various regional and local commercial stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact for digital initiatives with key external stakeholders and partners within and outside of Daiichi Sankyo
- Provide input and data on region to global teams/HQ colleagues as required

Change Management
- Drive the change management efforts across EU/CAN Region, in order to increase adoption of data driven customer engagement model, innovative business excellence projects, as well as the evolution towards a Learning organization

**Education & Professional Experience**:

- Advanced degree in business, science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in commercial and strategic roles in the pharmaceutical industry, oncology a plus
- 4+ years consulting experience
- Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, product lifecycle, as well as market access and regulatory environment in Europe
- Proven track record of successfully implementing impactful business excellence, strategy and innovation projects
- Hands-on proactive approach and accountability
- Strong communication and social skills
- Experience working in and leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams incl. training and upskilling on best practices
- Ability to influence across levels and drive change
- Ability to work in English - fluent written and spoken, additional language is a plus
