Competitive Intelligence Lead

The Competitive Intelligence Lead will be responsible for building up an environment of collecting, tracking and maintaining high quality data of competitors' financial and operational performance in the ride hailing vertical. Alongside, it is expected from this role to work closely with both global management in the headquarters (including CEO) and local country teams advising on the strategy and tactics when dealing with any competition-related matters.

The mid-term goals of this role is to be able to prepare a consistent reporting system for management, competitors profiling, build complex financial models to track and assess competitors performance, investment strategy, expansion plans and other initiatives across different regions. Finally, this position is a great opportunity to manage a team of professionals and work closely with tens of country teams in all our 350 cities globally.
- Develop, implement and improve financial and operational frameworks for capturing competitive intelligence for all our cities
- Remain fully informed on market trends and competitors' activity map, and provide insights to the remaining company on the industry and competitors development
- Work closely with country teams to regularly gather data about competitors performance and advise on the actions to be taken to maximise our growth potential opportunities
- Monitor key product changes, hiring and fundraising state for our competitors
- Proactively explore sources for additional competitive intelligence data collection and set up frameworks that would be used by the remaining company to assess the competitors' impact on our core business metrics.
- Lead and empower a team of talented analysts to unlock the maximum value in the competitive intelligence domain.
- "Get things done" attitude, bias for an output.

5 years of experience in an analytical role impacting a wide scale of business decisions preferably on a global scale.

Proven track record of project management and prioritization skills.

Business mindset, ability to read the data and translate it to meaningful insights based on stakeholders requirements.

Experience with managing a high-performing team.

Experience in a fast-growing on-demand or tech industry is a strong plus.

Ability to systemize and process large amounts of data as well as understand complex ecosystems and translate them into financial/operational models that are simple to understand for all the end-users.

Strong collaborator with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Amazing Excel, business modeling, market research, and data visualization skills.

Fluent in English.

The team is based in Estonia, and relocation based in Estonia would be preferred.
