BDR Team Lead

I am looking for a BDR Team Lead with experience in the acquisition of new customers in the B2B SaaS sector. Thanks to your structured and determined character, you will be able to provide technical guidance to a team of BDRs and Junior BDRs and take over the onboarding of new employees.

This is an office role based in Berlin with some possibility to work remotely if the workload allows this. 

You will:

  • Take the first step in the sales cycle - through cold calls and cold messages you will contact a large number of medium-sized companies and corporations in the DACH region by phone and e-mail/LinkedIn on a daily basis about the products and possibilities of the company software in the field of data analysis and optimization.
  • Strategically build up a team of BDRs and provide technical guidance.
  • Inform yourself about your customers in order to better understand their problems and develop customized solution concepts.
  • Be responsible for the fulfillment of the team KPIs and initiate appropriate measures to achieve the goals.
  • Focus on the automotive, manufacturing or SaaS industry.

You have:

  • 5+ years of outbound sales experience (ideally) in the automotive industry or in a complex SaaS environment and have interest, curiosity and a real "sales drive".
  • Start-up experience (preferred but not required) and initial management experience.
  • Communication and emotional intelligence: a can-do mindset, love to try new things and speaking fluent German.
  • Ability to actively listen and, based on this, ask the right questions to get to the root of the problem and constantly pursue the goal of closing a successful sale.
  • Knowledge of how to constantly motivate your team and lead them to success by meeting KPIs.
