**Your area of work**
Eurex Clearing's CCP Risk Management department is responsible for the strategic development of the risk management framework of the clearing house. As Head of Default Management Trading within the CCP Risk Management department you are responsible managing the execution of the default management process including convening Default Management Committees, hedging, auctions, and liquidation of positions in all cleared asset classes during a potential clearing member default.

In addition, the team’s task is to ensure the resilience of the clearing house by contributing product and market expertise to the development of state of the art risk management concepts for all products and services offered by Eurex Clearing.

You will be reporting to the Head of Section Default Management.

**Your responsibilities**
- Lead the team responsible for the execution of the Default Management process of Eurex Clearing, which is essential for Eurex Clearing growth strategy
- Develop the team and individual team members, keeping pace with trends in risk
- and default management
- Develop and maintain state of the art default
- and risk management enabling Eurex Clearing AG to continuously monitor and analyse the risk of complex portfolios
- Manage relationships with exchange participants and clearing members during yearly fire drills, liquidity surveys and areas that require market consultation
- Represent CCP Risk Management towards customers, regulators, associations, and trading venues
- Lead the team in supporting strategic projects, creating impact by deploying the default management teams unique skillset and experience

**Your profile**
- Demonstrated strong leadership
- and management skills
- At least 10 years of professional experience in trading on an institutional desk
- Understanding of risk management in a financial market infrastructure and the role of default management in a CCP
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep knowledge in financial markets
- We are looking for a highly motivated team player with a willingness to perform in a critical situation
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
