We invite you to develop innovative solutions at Ramboll in our civil & structures department together with our engineers. We are looking for students (M/F/d) of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering or comparable courses of study with a keen interest in programming.

You will join our offshore wind department. As our new student assistant (M/F/d), you will be part of a team of 500+ specialists working with design of offshore steel structures predominantly within the wind industry and offshore substations. You will be working together with engineers and CAD designers located in Hamburg. We have an open-minded and informal culture in the department, and you will work with both newly qualified and experienced senior engineers.

As a student assistant (M/F/d) you will support our engineers in the implementation of various evaluation and simulation methods. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

- Support development of our internal FEM design software used for offshore steel design.
- Facilitate development of new tools that can improve and automate our design process.
- Work together with Ramboll’s software development team based in Hamburg.

- Enrolled student at a university
- Good grades in university courses
- Basic understanding of programming, preferably in Python
- An analytical and structured way of thinking
- Ability to work independently and remotely via MS Teams
