We are seeking for

To support the Student Services department , we are looking for a student assistant (gn*) at the earliest possible date. The workload is designed for approximately 20 hours per week which is compensated with EUR 15 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

Personal initial consultation and support for (international) students at the Student Info Point as the "First Point of Contact": Answering inquiries in German and English for the Student Affairs department (Student Services, International Office, Program Services). Issuing certificates; Answering queries in day-to-day business, research tasks. Support in the accommodation field: Communication with students, room inspections, and handovers. Participation in the "Student Volunteer Groups" area: Sending out invitations to extracurricular events, and participating in the planning and implementation of extracurricular events on-site and virtually.

Your qualifications

Enrollment as a regular student at a state-recognized university. Very good German and English language skills in written and spoken communication. Strong service orientation, confident and engaging demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for communicating with diverse target groups. Structured, meticulous, and reliable work approach. Enjoy working in a team. Availability on-site and flexibility to work occasionally in the evenings and at weekends (room handovers, accompanying excursions and events).

Persönliche Erstberatung und Unterstützung von (internationalen) Studierenden am Student Info Point als "First Point of Contact": Beantwortung von Anfragen in deutscher und englischer Sprache für den Bereich Student Affairs (Student Services, International Office, Program Services) Ausstellung von Bescheinigungen; Beantworten von Anfragen im Tagesgeschäft, Rechercheaufgaben Mitarbeit im Aufgabenfeld "Wohnraum": Kommunikation mit Studierenden, Zimmerabnahmen und -übergaben Mitarbeit im Aufgabenfeld "Student Volunteer Groups": Einladungsversand zu extracurricularen Events, Teilnahme an der Planung und Umsetzung von extracurricularen Veranstaltungen vor Ort und virtuell

Ihre Qualifikationen

Immatrikulation als ordentliche:r Studierende:r an einer staatlich anerkannten Hochschule sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift ausgeprägte Serviceorientierung, sicheres und verbindliches Auftreten sowie gute Umgangsformen und Freude an der Kommunikation mit unterschiedlichen Zielgruppen strukturierte, sorgfältige und zuverlässige Arbeitsweise Freude an der Arbeit im Team Präsenz und zeitliche Flexibilität/Bereitschaft, vereinzelt abends und am Wochenende eingesetzt zu werden (Wohnraumübergaben/Begleitung von Ausflügen und Events)
