**Job Description**:
- Background
- The overarching aim of the Retail division is to deliver and enhance our value exchange to Retail partners through the Partnership Program and capitalize on the benefits this brings. Retailers have become accustomed to GfK as a barter partner fulfilling a specific function, but our capabilities are expanding and so too must our relationships, transforming Retail into a significant commercial business.
- GfK’s growing suite of products & solutions are providing manufacturers, distributors, and retailers with the ability to measure performance, identify opportunities and implement smarter and faster decisions across all areas of their business.
- The Solutions Success Lead is responsible for one or more product solutions for the Retail vertical, either independently or in coordination with an Industry focused colleague. They will set the strategic frameworks for success, define the go to market aspects of these solutions, support our teams across 60 countries worldwide to maximize our reach and value to our retail clients, fully realising the potential of our relationships and accelerating their growth.
- This role will initially focus two areas - Online Price Intelligence for retail, a co-branded solution provided by a 3rd party technology partner, supporting our clients with optimisation of pricing and product assortment to succeed in a competitive digital environment, and gfknewron Consumer, a syndicated platform product that provides insight into ‘why behind the buy’ and assists clients navigation through the purchase journey to optimize sales.
- The Solutions Success Lead reports directly to the VP Global Retail and the role sits within the Global Retail organisation.
Key Activities
- Online Pricing Intelligence Solution- Global ownership of ‘Online Price Intelligence’ (OPI) solutions for Retailers-
- Relationship management as the main GfK contact for our technology partner.gfknewron Consumer- Global ownership of go-to-market and sales activities for the Retail verticalFor Solutions within Remit- Set, own, and deliver against measurable targets to ensure effective launch, rollout and growth of the solution-
- Ownership of pitch and proposal excellence for solutions, working across functions to ensure a best-in-class approach is consistently delivered.-
- Be a solution and sector expert - understand differing use cases across personas and the best methods of engagement to develop compelling go-to-market approaches and collateral-

- Supporting global network of retail account managers with solution proposal requests, providing hands-on support to ensure our solution effectively meets client requirements and is distinctly communicated.-
- Measure, report, and outline actions together with regional and country leads to ensure solutions achieve maximum reach and value to our clients-

- Engage in a broad range of client meetings to understand “real” questions and feedback-
- Understand needs for further development, supporting the planning and prioritisation to deliver these and set expectations with clients and internal stakeholders on timelines-
- Create and execute client activation strategies in conjunction with the Partnership Program-
