We are currently seeking a Sales Representative - Genomics - South Germany & Austria (f/m/d) who will be responsible of the sales of our Genomics products by supporting existing clients and winning new ones. You will be located REMOTE in the sales region.
We are also open to welcome business new joiners
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
Develop high level positive relationships with selected customers throughout the client's organization, from procurement to scientific staff, and use these relationships to develop strategies for customer development
Strategically manage existing customers, to help protect & develop our existing business
Find opportunities for new products in Genomics and gather market intelligence and feedback to the team
Perform all sales activity within the assigned geographic territory such as customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, customer seminars and channel management.
Increase awareness of Beckman Coulter Genomics products by coordinating and attending exhibitions, seminars and other events and conducting direct marketing initiatives alongside other promotional activities as required
Close new business deal by coordinating requirements with the back-office team
**The required qualifications for the job include**:
Educated to a higher degree in Biology, with a strong background (scientific and technical) in Molecular Biology. An experience in NGS is highly desirable
A Master degree or PhD is an advantage
Previous experience of technical selling within the Life Science, Industrial and/or Academic sector, is not mandatory.
Fluency in German and in English is mandatory
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
Good communication and presentation skills are need and good organizational skills (time and territory management) suitable.
Passion, team spirit, a self-motivated and results driven personality, who enjoys working on their own as well as part of a team is crucial in this role
