Business Development Intern

**Role Description**
This is a full-time Business Development Internship role at Tech Jobs Fair (TJF) and is a **remote** **role** for an individual interested in learning prospecting skills and working in the tech industry. This individual will be responsible for assisting in researching new markets, researching new leads, qualifying incoming leads, and assisting with generating proposals.
If you’re a recent graduate or about to complete your studies and are fascinated by technology and sales, our Business Development Internship Program is your opportunity to shine.
In this role, you’ll learn about business development and how a fast-growing sales team operates.
You’ll be part of a team focused on identifying the right people for outreach, using critical thinking and a robust tech stack to contribute to the success of our outbound sales development.
**Requirements and skills**
- **Fluency in English & German**:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Diligence and enthusiasm for quality results
- Affinity for spreadsheets and analytical tasks
- Methodical and analytical thinking
- Familiarity with basic sales concepts
- An understanding of basic research concepts and ability to use search tools such as Google to explore new markets, and generate proposals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self-starter, able to take initiative and operate independently
- Good social media skills
- Experience with B2B sales or Marketing.
- Ability to research and learn quickly
**Responsibilities**
- Filter company lists to select those fitting our ideal customer profile
- Run searches for appropriate contact persons in targeted accounts
- Segment prospects based on compelling events and key research points
- Assist with outbound campaign preparations
- Participate in training sessions, sales meetings, and shadow sales calls and demos
