**About the role**

As an Intern Global Sales, you will be supporting the country-based GSO teams in day-to-day activities across all brands within Marriott International
- You will have the opportunity to support the team across several business segments (Business Travel, Airline Crew, Groups & Events and Leisure)
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tasks, client communication, and analyzing the KPIs via state-of-the-art reporting technology
- You will be participating on project and account teams, executing activities that support strategic account management and team-based sales models
- Liaising with global teams located in other European and global offices to share ideas and collaborate on special projects
- Consulting customers on properties out of our global hotel portfolio best matching the request profile and individual client’s business needs
- Providing a first-class, customer service-oriented sales approach

**Experience**
- Previous experience in sales and/ or hospitality is a plus

**Education or Certification**
- High school completion or equivalent is required
- A University Degree is preferred
- Hospitality Management Degree beneficial

**Skills and Knowledge**
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Initiative taking
- Fluency in Germany and English, additional languages a plus
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
