**JOB SUMMARY**
The Manager, Performance Optimization & Analytics is a key member of the Europe, Middle East and Africa Global Sales Organization (GSO) that provides business performance optimization and analytic services, reporting directly to the Vice President of EMEA GSO. The Manager, Performance Optimization & Analytics will serve as the strategic lead and project manager that addresses critical business questions from executive leadership, GSO Leaders and Segment teams in Continent and serves as the primary point of contact between Continent GSO teams and the centralized Reporting & Analytic resources, Account Deployment and Global Performance services (GPS) team at Marriott headquarters to ensure consistency in approach and supports efforts to integrate performance measurement and create a holistic picture for Continent business performance. The Manager, Performance Optimization & Analytics will also play a key role in the GSO Executive Leadership Team’s workstream focused on creating efficiencies within GSO programs and processes.
In addition, this role will also champion and coordinate performance and process enhancements for the GSO associates with the GPS team. This work would include steering the goal setting and account deployment process, ensuring all deadlines are met and any other initiatives or ad hoc requests from the GSO leadership or headquarter team are carried out efficiently and with due consideration to regional nuances. This position will educate and empower the sales team and sales support functions to work autonomously with standard reports and sales processes. The position will also support the B2B Marketing team to deliver campaign performance analytics and analyze financial data to determine optimal use of resources.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE**
Education and Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience in sales, sales analysis, marketing analysis, revenue management, financial analysis or a related discipline.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration or quantitative discipline.
- Substantial analytical experience and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and present complex issues to associates at all organizational levels including senior level executives within the Continent.
- Demonstrated ability to create high level presentations for the continent and present complex data in a clear, concise, and strategic manner.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office for data analysis, memos, documents, and presentations.
- Experience with reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Excel, etc.)
- Cloud Data Warehouse (Snowflake).
- Strong attention to detail when building and validating spreadsheets, models and presentations.
- Customer-service orientation including evaluation/validation of requests and prompt follow-up.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other cross-functional teams and departments to enhance analytical insights.
Education and Experience Preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- SQL programming experience.
- Familiarity with Marriott systems (MRDW, SFA, NGS, PMS, MARSHA, OY).

**Project Leadership**
- Works to build business cases, lead and provide support for market assessments and advance technology requirements for the needs of the global sales force.
- Provides support across Global Sales to anticipate and address business-critical needs. Develops strategic road maps in conjunction with the Continent Vice President; provides project management and support designed to drive efficiencies and results for the GSO.
- Develops and implements GSO initiatives with mínimal oversight, working with GSO leaders and HQ to meet project objectives and goals on time and on budget.
- Leads execution of overall change management strategy, ensuring implementations are consistent in processes, tools and services provided to customers leveraging Marriott’s change management model and methodology.
- Adapts change management deliverables and influences to implement change management plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement to drive faster adoption, and higher proficiency on the changes impacting associates in the organization and ensure consistent market implementation.
- Delivers presentations related to the strategic roadmap development, project execution and management to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Implements monitoring approaches that result in identifying the highest opportunity (markets/scope, etc.) areas for action.
