**Head of Banking, Financial Services and Insurance - DACH - (D/F/M)**
Based in Germany

**The Opportunity**
Our Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Vertical is seeking a Commercial Lead to assume leadership for major clients within the industry across the DACH region. In this role, you will balance business development and sales responsibilities. As a trusted Advisor, you will be responsible for managing high quality delivery while developing strategies and tactics for further penetrating the market and cross selling Cognizant’s emerging services.
The Commercial Lead engages with our existing and prospective client CxO organizations, understanding their strategic objectives, and demonstrating our value proposition towards fulfilling those customer objectives. In order to achieve this, the Commercial Lead will need to engage with internal capability groups responsible for multiple specialized service groups and bring an integrated value proposition of our towards its clients.

**Your Key Result Areas**
- Build trusted advisor relationships in the C-level/executive management level across the client organization
- Leverage strong domain knowledge within the industry to understand client’s business drivers, digital market forces disrupting the industry, and design differentiated value propositions
- Manage the P&L associated with the Industry vertical against set top line and bottom line targets
- Grow the portfolio profitably and sustainably through shaping and delivering the customer’s digital transformation and other strategic agenda
- Create and manage pipeline of Consulting, Digital, IT and Business operations services across the industry

**Your Qualification**
- Experience in leading and driving impactful change within a complex matrix of scale with previous experience leading an autonomous business unit or region
- Proven track record in managing a large portfolio of key accounts in this Industry
- Have a good understanding of the latest business and technology trends in this industry
- Expertise in high growth and fast paced sales environments, including strong alignment across multiple functions.
- Experience of leading and closing large deals in managed services (multi-million $ and multi-year contracts)
- Network in DACH with C-Levels in industry and with third party influencers
- Fluent in German and English as a Business Language
- University degree
