Summary
For the area "Optronical Sensors & Lasers" we are looking for a "Head of Production Optronical Sensors & Lasers (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
The division covers a broad product spectrum - in addition to ongoing series orders in small and medium volume ranges, the teams work in an integrated manner with other specialist divisions on prototypes and initial samples as part of in-house development and customer projects.
Your Tasks- Technical and disciplinary management of the division with all integrated departments and teams, including all associated leadership and management tasks- Participation in the alignment and implementation of the company's strategy as a member of the management circle as well as support in the rolling planning process- Ensuring effective and efficient production in accordance with internal and external process requirements, taking into account available resources / capacities and within defined time, cost and quality frameworks- Organizing, leading and continuously developing / improving all production processes and the level of industrialization as well as the related production infrastructure- Ensuring smooth and HSE-compliant production operations and avoiding bottlenecks- Introduction of new technologies and modern production methods as part of the industrialization strategy- Ensuring compliance with high quality standards and implementing measures for continuous improvement of product quality in close cooperation with Quality Management- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental requirements in production- Continuous promotion and development of assigned employees- Close collaboration with all involved operational and administrative areas
Your Profile- Completed studies with technical orientation ideally in the field of optoelectronics or similar- Several years of professional experience in a responsible position in the production of complex opto-mechatronic devices including software functionality- Experience in optimizing production organizations and processes- Proven knowledge and experience in modern production systems and industrialization processes- Very good knowledge in the field of optics as well as in the requirements for military products and systems- Excellent leadership skills to manage a production area as well as to lead and motivate employees and teams- Comprehensive technical understanding of processes, products, technologies and industrialization structures- Flexibility, willingness to change and own initiative as well as very good communication and organizational skills- Independent entrepreneurial thinking and acting as well as a quality and solution-oriented way of working- Very good German and English skills
