**Chemical Technical Assistent**:

**Your tasks**:
**Laboratoy**
- Conduct organic-preparative synthesis according to instructions of the scientific researchers and literature
- Purification of the synthesized substances using a broad specrum of chemical and physical methods (e.g. filtrate, distill, TLC, GPC, HPLC)
- Characterization of the synthesized substances using modern analytical methods (e.g. NMR, FTIR, UV-vis, GPC, TLC, HPLC, MS)
- Digital documentation of experiments as well as data and text processing
- Neutralization and disposal of chemical waste

**Administration**
- Purchase of consumables and chemical reagents
- Maintenance of the chemical database
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment

**Supervision**
- Introduction of scientific personnel and students to laboratory equipment
- Assist scientific staff and students in carrying out chemical experiments and preparations

**Your profile**:

- Completed training as chemical-technical assistant or equivalent knowledge and experience. With comparable knowledge and experience (Bachelor's/Master's in Chemistry), the salary will be reduced to EG 8 TV-L.
- At least 6 months of experience as technical assistant or in a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of preparative and quantitative organic chemistry, as well as polymer chemistry
- Sound knowledge of analytical methods (e.g. HPLC, GPC, NMR, IR, UV-vis)
- Very good knowledge of German and English language, especially chemical terminology
- Sound knowledge of safety-related regulations on the handling of hazardous substances
- You are a responsible person and demonstrate a structured, independent way of working
- You are a team player and willing to integrate into an international, multicultural team
