The mission of the Event Intern Germany is to support our local Events team, and in particular the Senior Events Manager, for monitoring and managing events and partnerships to improve our position on the German market.
- This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of a wide range of events. As an Events Intern, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, gain practical skills, and be involved in planning and executing memorable events.

You will report directly to Fabian, our Workspace and Events Manager and work side by side with him to directly impact and help us manage, develop and scale our brand awareness and consideration in Germany through events.

**As a Event Intern at Qonto, you will**:

- Do the market research of potential activities, marketing mapping (suppliers, venues for the event activities for all 3 markets, Germany, Italy, Barcelona)
- On-site and admin support: Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting. Assist in coordinating event schedules and managing event-related activities.
- Creative input: Contribute innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance event concepts, themes, and overall attendee experience.

- Having worked in
**Events**,
**Communications and PR** in Germany for several years, Fabian has successfully built and executed the PR, Comms and Events strategies for many different companies and scale-ups. At Qonto he has played a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and executing remarkable events
**in Germany, Spain & Italy** that align with our brand and strategic objectives.

**What they can bring to you**:

- You will learn the ins and outs of event planning, including venue selection, logistics management, vendor coordination, and creating comprehensive event timelines. You’ll gain exposure to the entire event lifecycle and understand how to bring various elements together to create a successful event.

**About You**

**Languages**: You speak both German and English fluently (Italian or Spanish are a plus);

**Experience**: You are about to finish your BA degree or MA (looking for your first exposure to a scale up), and already have some working experience in Event Management;

**Organisational skills**:You are very organised in your daily tasks and reporting requirements, you have developed time management skills, and you are comfortable working in a fast-pacing environment;

**Communication skills**: Your are a stellar communicator, you have strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and clients;
