**Was Sie bei uns tun**

This work focuses on evaluating different simulation toolsets for mobile service robot programming and testing. This involves familiarization with the tool and implementing custom environments, robots and functional objects (like doors, drawers, buttons). Also the connection of the simulation towards the ROS framework needs to be implemented. Focus lies on photorealistic simulations, which are also capable of running with high FPS on average computer hardware, and correct physical modelling of objects and their articulated parts.

- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
- Profound knowledge of C++ and/or Python
- (Best Case) Experience with ROS
- Enthusiasm for mobile robotics
- Independent workstyle
- Fluent in English or German
