Working Student Post Trade Operations Fx

The Post Trade Operation for Derivatives & FX is part of the 1st Line of Defense, i.e. we ensure that no errors (damage to the bank or clients) occur on the trading side when recording trading transactions or correct them. This requires close cooperation with Trading, Sales and Structuring as well as other control and back office units.**What you’ll be doing**:
- Analysis and redesign of existing processes (own optimization ideas are to be developed and implemented)
- Checking of control and analysis sheets (Excel and database copies) and comparison with trading systems
- Discrepancies are to be evaluated and corrected with the responsible departments
- Programming simple macros for Excel (e.g. in VBA)
- Independent collaboration in cross-departmental projects
- Various support activities for the team: research, preparation and coordination
**What you’ll need to succeed**:
- You are an enrolled student in the field of business administration, economics, economics, mathematics, physics or a comparable course of study
- You already have some practical experience
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Confident with MS Office programs (especially Excel
- Basic knowledge of programming with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- You enjoy working independently
- You are an organizational talent and have a goal-oriented and structured way of working
- High affinity for numbers and quick comprehension are among your strengths
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills and a certain degree of initiative round off your profile
