**Unser Profil**:
This advertised position is settled within the research project "Incubator for Sustainable Electrochemical Value Creation" (iNEW), a cooperation project between FZ Jülich and RWTH Aachen, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMFB). This project focusses on "Power-to-X" technologies. The term “Power-to-X” indicates new future electricity conversion, energy storage and reconversion pathways that use surplus electric power. Within this framework we develop new concepts along with new catalyst materials for an innovative, climate-friendly ammonia synthesis (Power-to-Ammonia).

We offer you herewith a PostDoc position, embedded in an international and interdisciplinary team, with extraordinary possibilities for your personal further qualification including access to advanced characterization techniques.

**Ihr Profil**:

- You have an above-average university degree (Master or equivalent) in natural sciences or material sciences and a doctorate in the field of natural sciences or material sciences.
- You are highly motivated to work scientifically independently and to advance research in the field of Power-to-X in a team.
- You possess a high degree of responsibility and initiative.
- You are well organized, communicative and team-oriented.
- You ideally already have experience in the field of electrochemical catalysis (e.g. Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER)).

**Ihre Aufgaben**:

- Coordination of work packages within the iNEW project.
- Communication with project partners, preparation of results for project meetings, preparation of progress reports, preparation of results for meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Development of small research projects for students and supervision of students in their research, bachelor or master thesis.
