**Your Job**:

- Translate manual biofunctionalization methods of our flexMEA biosensors into an automated process using a state-of-the-art micro-pipetting robot to ensure cross-contamination resistant multi-target sensor chips
- Streamline workflow to efficiently functionalize multiple flexMEA chips in a single run
- Optimize flexMEA chip design to improve the performance efficiency of our in-house portable electronic measuring device
- Integrate new features into the flexMEA chip architecture such as temperature sensor
Support the characterization the optimized flexMEA biosensor through electrochemical (CV, DPV, EIS) and mechanical testing

**Your Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in the field of biomedical /electrical engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, or similar
- Previous experience in electrochemistry preferred
- Basic knowledge of electronics is a plus
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new concepts/methods
- Well structured and systematic research approach
- Interest in the research area of Biosensors and automation
- High degree of independence and motivation
- Statistical, analytical, and conscientious working style
