**Your Job**:

- Developing Python-based image processing tools tailored to the specific requirements of the chosen project
- Collaborating with electrochemistry researchers to ensure the tools are compatible with different electrochemical image datasets
- Utilizing Git for version control and maintaining detailed project documentation in LaTeX
- Testing and validating the developed tools on various electrochemical image datasets to ensure accuracy and efficiency

**Your Profile**:

- Ongoing master studies in engineering, computer science, data science, chemistry, physics, or a related field enrolled in a German university
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, including experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow and Keras)
- Experience with image processing algorithms both classical and machine learning based
- Familiarity with version control using Git, and document preparation with LaTeX
- Basic knowledge about signal processing
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
