As Sustainability Specialist you are the contact person for topics such as environmental & waste management, energy management & energy efficiency as well as sustainability. You support the company by contributing your knowledge to offer solutions and proposals for the implementation of performance improvement programs in your area of responsibility.

HSE Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Advising the specialist departments on waste disposal issues, drawing up concepts for the separation of recyclable materials by type and for the transfer of sites to a circular economy; drawing up recycling concepts
- Drawing up strategic roadmaps on energy efficiency issues, and creating specifications and standards for energy-efficient building and production technology
- Participating in investment projects with a view to more energy-efficient plants and in the analysis and systematic revision of existing plants and equipment with a view to energy recording and energy saving
- Preparing balance sheets in accordance with the GHG protocol for the sites
- Supporting product certifications with regard to sustainability aspects
- Formulation of requirement catalogues for sustainable product development and processes
- Initiation, development and coordination of processes in the areas of energy management, digitalization and sustainability in regular close coordination with management representatives, responsible bodies (officers) and the departments concerned
- Documentation & maintenance of processes for the Sustainability department
- Implementation of measures within the scope of certification according to DIN EN ISO 50001 as well as preparation of repeat certifications; fulfilment of the documentation obligations of ISO 50.001 and 14.001 for the Sustainability department
- Prepararing and creating articles / photos for reporting on implemented sustainability projects for internal and external communication purposes
- Establishing and further developing the internal sustainability reporting

**Your background**:

- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Profound knowledge of electrical engineering, energy efficiency, e-mobility, DIN ISO 50001 - energy management system, PV technology, building control technology and building control systems
- Knowledge of MS Office, SAP
- A team-oriented, solution-oriented way of working as well as very good written and oral communication skills
- Completed engineering studies (ideally with a focus on energy and environmental technology)
- Fluent German and English
