The Head of Performance Marketing will lead a team of approximately 22 professionals across Performance, Brand, and Marketing Operations. They will oversee efforts in affiliates, display advertising, paid social, SEA, SEO, and ASO, ensuring a balanced approach between branding and performance marketing. Additionally, they’ll develop tailored marketing strategies and localize our customer experience across 17 Lounge markets.
Among your peers are: Head of Analytics, Head of Demand Tech, Head of Graphics and Content and Head of CRM.

- Drive Our Marketing Strategy: Own the marketing strategy, balancing performance and brand to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Lead with a Growth Mindset: Use ROI-driven methods to maximize Lounge by Zalando's value and growth potential.
- Data-Driven Marketing: Leverage data insights to create personalized marketing activities. Proficiency in data analysis and tools like Google Analytics, Looker, and SQL is beneficial.
- Optimize for Efficiency: Refine investments and processes to enhance impact and drive profitable growth.
- Inspire and Lead: Guide and motivate a team of approximately 22 people.
- Champion Marketing Technology: Collaborate with MarTech and Analytics teams to enhance data and technology frameworks, focusing on MMM, incrementality, and attribution.
- Budget Management: Oversee and allocate marketing budgets, regularly analyzing and recommending adjustments for optimization.

- You have extensive leadership experience within consumer, data-focused and technology-driven international businesses.
- Successful commercial and technical leader with strong expertise in performance and brand marketing.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels like TikTok, Snapchat, Google Ads, Facebook and SEO throughout the funnel.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, experience with building a marketing engine across tracking, attribution, automation, and optimisation.
- Proven track record successfully managing a multi-million dollar acquisition budget and taking a company through an intensive growth period.
- You have a customer-centric mindset, know how to put yourself in our customer’s shoes and have a strong commercial attitude.
- Proven Team Leadership: You have a strong track record of leading diverse teams, effectively managing different levels of seniority and technical expertise.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Management: You excel at managing stakeholders, confidently communicating with upper management and senior leaders to ensure alignment and garner support for Marketing initiatives.
