Evmos is the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Hub on Cosmos and enables developers to launch apps that run smart contracts across any number of EVM and Cosmos-based blockchains. It makes that process as simple and seamless as possible by allowing developers to continue creating apps in programming languages like Solidity or Vyper they're already accustomed to in the Ethereum ecosystem.

**People Operations at Evmos**:
Our team is focused on building Evmos, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Hub on Cosmos. We are a remote-first company that operates globally and has teams working together from Berlin, Miami, New York and the San Francisco Bay Area, amongst other locations. We are first

People Operations at Evmos is a frontline people management role which will support our founders and employees with the most relevant initiatives during a period of high growth. In this role, you will be a visible leader and build core processes during the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible to build up new crucial People functions, and shape our remote Evmos culture. You will ensure that Evmos becomes the #1 employer brand in the Cosmos Ecosystem. You will work closely with our core team to advance our training and development for Crypto natives and newcomers.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Establish and improve core processes of the employee lifecycle
- Integrate new team members into international, remote-first teams
- Build and maintain a supportive, inclusive high performance culture
- Develop the market-leading employer brand for blockchain-interested talent
- Streamline and improve onboarding/off-boarding processes and HR data management
- Deliver key monthly and quarterly reports detailing People Operations metrics
- Participate in special projects focused on the overall people experience
- Represent Evmos as an employer brand at conferences, and in our digital channels and communities

**What you will learn**:

- You'll get familiarity with blockchain technologies and to a point where you can develop an intensive depth of knowledge of them
- Setting up compensation in distributed companies
- Organise international team building and-/or company events
- Lead and provide visa and sponsorship guidance
- Presentation-building experience (Google Sheets, Powerpoint)

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience in executing Inclusion and Awareness programs
- Setup and executed Engineering Training & Development curriculums
- Experience with international Recruiting, Employee Management and Payroll programs (e.g. Greenhouse, DATEV, Personio)
- Setting up employee referral programs
- Familiarity with the Cosmos and Ethereum blockchain ecosystems
