**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for managing and developing face to face customer relationships with large, strategic Tech Data customers or customer portfolios and maximising associated lines of revenue, profit and potential lines of business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manages a complex and strategic customer base with annual revenues of at least €200m
- Creates high impact value propositions for 'C' level discussions and decision making processes.
- Develop a deep understanding of Tech Data's working practices and business objectives to drive customer engagement
- Demonstrates a consistent ability to negotiate high level/high value customer opportunity engagements successfully.
- Conduct face to face customer visits, proactively maintaining strategic relationships with key decision makers and be seen as a trusted advisor
- Maintains excellent relationship with existing clients and frequently interacts directly with new prospects to build customer base and increase sales.
- Form strategic plans to develop and execute against current business and drive growth
- Discover and exploit incremental business through excellent customer relationships
- Identify customer needs and problems and look to resolve or escalate to the relevant business units
- Orchestrating board level engagement activity that clearly addresses overall business objectives and multiple objectives.
- Profile and analyse the account set, creating and taking actions to maximise opportunities
- Timely and accurate completion of essential reporting, profiling and general administration including Compass (CRM system)
- Maintain and improve customer Service Level Agreements
- Work with Business Unit owners to design corrective action plans that resolve identified problem to improve customer relations.
- Effectively promote the benefits of Tech Data's e-commerce tool (InTouch) with customers and drive usage
- Work with appropriate vendor representatives to identify opportunities in line with joint objectives
- Ensures cross-divisional or regional teamwork in order to leverage value in achieving the customer/s business vision
- Display professionalism and role model behaviour at all times, upholding the Tech Data values.
- Displays proven leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance, direction, support and coaching to the inside sales team members, customer and peers.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- 8+ years of industry/direct customer experience
- Fluent German language skills and good English skills both verbal and written
- Highly numerate
- Master knowledge of assigned product / service line and broad understanding of how they integrate with the organization's entire product / service line.
- Possesses expert knowledge of Services programs and processes for multiple Brands
- Outstanding customer relations skills
- Able to articulate, persuade, influence favourable business outcomes in 'C' level scenarios
- Seen as a consulting trusted advisor in helping the customer to set strategic business objectives
- Able to deliver powerful, succinct and convincing presentations to all levels
- Gravitas and business credibility are essential
- Excellent sales skills including negotiation and pursuing results
- Strategic planning skills
- A knowledge of product set is an advantage
- Previous experience in the IT industry would be desirable
- Experience of working with a CRM system (Compass) desirable but not essential
- Experience of working with SAP R3 would be desirable but not essential
- Full understanding of financial inputs (profit / trend margin / OI)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
