**PhD Student / Wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiterin / Mitarbeiter Infektiologie - Klinische Mikrobiomforschung**:

Wir suchen Ihre Unterstützung für die **AG Klinische Mikrobiomforschung (Schwerpunkt Infektiologie, Medizinische Klinik 2)** im Rahmen verschiedener Projekte zum Einfluss von Antibiotikatherapien auf das menschliche Bakteriom und Mykobiom. Unser langfristiges Ziel ist die Umsetzung neuer Erkenntnisse in therapeutische Konzepte. Dazu generieren und validieren wir Hypothesen zum Einfluss des menschlichen Mikrobioms auf verschiedene Krankheitsbilder. Schwerpunktmäßig befassen wir uns bisher mit dem Mikrobiom des Darms und des Urogenitaltrakts. Dabei greifen wir sowohl auf Methoden der Grundlagenforschung und Bioinformatik als auch auf verschiedene Formen klinischer Studien zurück.

**IHRE AUFGABEN**:

- Selbstständige Versuchs
- und Projektplanung, Recherche der Fachliteratur, Interpretation der Ergebnisse, Verifizierung und Generierung von Hypothesen, Planung, Koordination, Durchführung und Auswertung von Experimenten (Befähigung zum wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten)
- Datenmanagement und -aufbereitung
- Statistische Integration klinischer Daten mit Daten aus Mikrobiomanalysen
- Dokumentation, Visualisierung und Veröffentlichung von Forschungsergebnissen in Fachzeitschriften, Präsentation der Ergebnisse bei Vorträgen und Fachkongressen
- Mithilfe bei Drittmittelanwerbung und Antragstellung zur Förderung von klinischen Studien
- Kann erlernt werden: Bewertung, Implementierung und Anwendung neuartiger bioinformatischer Methoden (Programmierung und Scripting mit QIME2, R) zur Aufarbeitung und statischen Auswertung von komplexen Datensätzen (z.B. klinische und NGS-Daten)

**IHR PROFIL**:

- Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Statistik, Bioinformatik oder Systembiologie.
- Sie haben Interesse am humanen Mikrobiom.
- Sie sind routiniert im Umgang mit MS Office.
- Erfahrungen im Projekt
- und Datenmanagement sind erwünscht, aber keine Voraussetzung.
- Sie zeichnet eine selbstständige Arbeitsweise und ein hohes Organisationsvermögen aus.
- Sie sind motiviert, in der klinischen Forschung mitzuwirken.
- Darüber hinaus passen Sie gut zu uns, wenn Sie kommunikativ sind, gute Deutsch
- und Englischkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift) mitbringen und Freude an der Arbeit im Team haben.
- Aufgrund gesetzlicher Bestimmungen ist ein gültiger Nachweis der Masernimmunität / Masernschutzimpfung notwendig.
