Today we are looking to recruit our new Business Development Leader to join our Team in Karlsruhe office at next possible appointment.

**Your new field of activity - challenging and future-oriented.**
- Your deep understanding of customer needs and branches challenges will help you to define answer and solution use case to customer needs.
- You will be developing global Account business and drive Sub-Industry Initiatives and Rollouts.
- To support business development in different Regions with focus on industry sector Chemical / Oil&Gas.
- Gather, analyze, and communicate Account relevant and Market data (Company profile, Projects, Investment intentions, contacts etc...).
- Develop account business planning including the support of annual target setting process.
- Convert and develop strategies and measures (i.e., Business Plans, VTA’s, etc.) and share and align them with the affected regions, account managers (CAM, GAM,...), Business units and legal entities.
- Regional project identification and development. Follow-up and as needed, take control of cross-regional internal and external coordination.
- Generate Reports out of tools like Tactix, SiSales etc.
- Analyze, understand, and support customer eco-systems.
- Support, organize customer events and meetings.
- Develop customer value preposition and support blueprints and marketing material.
- Support portfolio dialog with BU’s and Segments
- To Lead the transformation of the sales processes toward value creation and solution mapping.
- Share experience with the worldwide Siemens sales channels and organizations.
- Be focused on profitable business development and manage the channels for direct and indirect businesses.
- Trigger the media and social media communication interfaces for the chemical / oil & gas industry of Siemens towards our partners and customers.

**Your qualifications - well founded and adequate**
- University degree or adequate qualification from an engineering (process/automation/electrical), computer sciences faculty, or business administration with strong technical background, and/or Marketing experience.
- You bring with several years work experience in similar capacity including the leadership of our experienced technical business professionals’ team.
- As part of your DNA, you act as an entrepreneur to establish and/or maintain profitable business with customers, whilst ensuring customer benefits.
- You understand our customers within the chemical industry and bring with profound Knowledge in the areas of Process Automation, Process Engineering, Process Simulation, Digitalization.
- Knowledge on the current Siemens DI automation, electrification, and digitalization portfolio.
- You are familiar with the basics of the agile method of operation in the daily work.
- You can encourage and empower others and have excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Drive end customers and their OEMs, SIs, EPCs and planners through own team and through close
- Excellent communication skills, rounded by business fluent level in both German and English.
