- Soon you will be independently responsible for material groups and their purchasing conditions.
- The execution of price and contract negotiations on an international level is part of your tasks.
- At the same time, you will identify market trends as well as innovations.
- Development and implementation of purchasing strategies as well as execution of cost reduction potentials as well as "make-or-buy" analyses are your field of activity.
- Your daily tasks include managing international supplier relationships and supplier development.
- You will act as a support for the international purchasing activities of the DAIKIN Group and as a team member in the European Commodity "Heatings".
- Continuous improvement of purchasing relevant processes make your daily work exciting.

This will heat us up:

- Completed studies in the field of engineering, industrial engineering or business administration
- Several years of sound professional experience in technical purchasing in a manufacturing company
- Distinct negotiation skills, assertiveness, good communication skills, intercultural competence and ability to work in a team
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working based on great initiative
- Good command of written and spoken English and German
- Confident handling of SAP R/3 as well as MS Office programs
